About this tool

Most social apps and messaging services do not let you choose a font. They do accept any Unicode character, though, and Unicode contains complete alphabets drawn in bold, italic, script, double-struck and other styles, originally added for mathematics. This generator swaps each of your letters for its styled twin, so the look survives copy and paste.

Some styles need a little care. Unicode never added a few letters in certain styles because older symbols already filled the slot, so the generator uses the right replacement, and rows note any letter that has no styled form. Underline and strikethrough use combining marks that sit on top of each character rather than a separate alphabet.

Use these styles sparingly. Screen readers often read styled letters one by one or by their mathematical names, and search features inside apps may not match them, so keep your name or key information in plain text and use the fancy version as decoration.

This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type or open is never sent to a server.

Frequently asked questions

Why do some styles show boxes or question marks?

The device viewing the text lacks a font that includes those characters. Recent phones and computers show nearly all of them; older systems may miss the rarer ones such as filled squares.

Will this work in my Instagram or TikTok bio?

Usually yes, because the result is ordinary Unicode text rather than a font. A few sites block or reshape certain characters, so check how it looks after saving.

Is fancy text bad for accessibility?

It can be. Many screen readers announce each styled letter separately or skip it. Avoid using it for whole sentences or important details like contact information.

Do you keep what I type?

Your text is stored only in this browser, so it is still there when you come back, and it is never sent to a server. Clearing the box removes it.
